The city of Frisco TX has made it a mission to invite and partner with world class companies and sports programs to better enhance the lifestyle of its residents.  Frisco TX is home to the Frisco Roughriders who play at Dr. Pepper ballpark, FC Dallas soccer who are hosted at Toyota Stadium, and soon the training facilities to the Dallas Cowboys.  When the city gets behind a park project you can bet they put their best foot forward with over 36 parks and 1300 acres of parkland they are the proud recipients of the Texas Recreation and Parks Society’s prestigious Gold Medal Award for Excellence in Parks and Recreation Management in 2007 and 2010.  These parks include everything from hiking and biking trails, batting cages and splash parks, to natural, undeveloped areas, urban forestry programs, fishing piers, football, soccer, and baseball fields.  There are lighted basketball and tennis court.  Frisco has a playground for everyone!

Shopping and Dining:

Frisco TX is home to Stonebriar Mall.  This hub of shopping is home to fine retailers like Gap, Michael Kors, Macys, JcPenney, Oakley and Nordstrom.  Need to recharge and refocus while shopping at Stonebriar Mall then visit their food court with options like Chick Fil A, Sonic, Panda Express, Sbarro.  Want something a little more upscale then visit The Cheesecake Factory, Buca Di Beppo, California Pizza Kitchen, Perrys Steakhouse and Estilo Gaucho.  Thru out the city there are plenty of grocers like Kroger, Target, Wal Mart, Albertsons, and Market Street for your daily needs.   Other local favorite restaurants include Babe’s Chicken, Jakes, Mashd, Tupys, Cantina Laredo, Tru Fire Kitchen and Bar, La Hacienda and Mattito’s.
